About These Terms
These terms apply to quotes, supply, installation, repair and servicing work carried out by Slide & Glide Pty Ltd (ABN 17 683 811 163), trading as Glide Roller Doors. They apply unless we’ve agreed different terms with you in writing, for example in a maintenance agreement or an approved trade account.
Quotes And Estimates
All quotes and estimates are valid for 14 days from the date of issue. Any change to the scope of work or the materials required may result in a revised quote, and we’ll tell you about any change before work starts.
Deposits And Payment
- New installations: a 50% deposit is required when you accept the quote. The remaining balance is due before installation to confirm the appointment, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Repairs and servicing: full payment is due when the work is completed and before the technician leaves the site, unless otherwise authorised by our management or agreed under account terms.
Scope Of Service
The work we carry out is as described on your quote and invoice.
Warranty
Our repairs are warranted for 90 days against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty doesn’t cover misuse or accidental damage. Manufacturer warranties on new doors, motors and parts are separate and are set by the manufacturer.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that can’t be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under that law.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we’re not liable for damage caused by pre-existing issues or by conditions beyond our control.
